This long-angle view of the U.S. Mint area at the 2008 ANA World's Fair of Money in Baltimore gives you some idea of the grand scale of the ANA show as a whole. In the same way that this convention "booth" would be out of place at your local monthly coin show, it is eminently appropriate for the huge scale of the ANA World's Fair of Money, which boasts more than 1,000 coin dealers in attendance!
The people lined up on the left are looking at the Ultra-High Relief Saint-Gaudens display elements (including the gold bars and plaster casts we saw in previous images.) At the end of the line in the distance is the business portion of the Mint's booth, where U.S. Mint products are sold over the counter. A Mint official echoed what many other coin dealers have told me about this year's ANA World's Fair: that it was the best show they've ever done as far as sales are concerned! He said the Mint did a whopping $543,000 plus in sales, a record for the agency.
