The reverse of this 1895 Morgan Silver Dollar shows the same hint of golden tone above a mirrored surface, with the milky-frosted cameo devices seeming to float above the field. I've always thought the reverses of the Proof Morgans showed such amazing three-dimensional detail. This PCGS graded PR-63 Cameo specimen found a new owner at the August 14, 2006 Heritage Galleries Auction during the ANA World's Fair of Money week in Denver. Selling for a total price of $48,875.00, I wish I could have afforded to buy it!
