This is the obverse of a stunning proof 1895 Morgan Silver Dollar, with a nice mirror and exquisite gunmetal colored toning that features shimmers of golden apricot and lustrous blue. It is one of 3 1895 Morgans which was sold at Auction on Aug. 14, 2006 by Heritage Galleries. This lovely specimen, graded PR-63 by ANACS, sold for $40,250 (including buyer's premium.)
