After seeing all those juicy coin minting errors shown in the previous photo, and finding that the Shanghai Mint authorities weren't about to let him have some samples, Fred did what any self-respecting error coin expert would do! He whipped out his big ten-inch record of amazing errors (ah, apologies to Aerosmith,) and showed the Chinese Mint workers how much the crazy Americans would pay for their floor sweepings! The photo depicts a Shanghai Mint employee marvelling at the wondrous minting mistakes for sale in Fred's 1983 error coin catalog. If you've never seen one of Fred's catalogs, you're in for a real treat. =)
