This is another view of the incredible struck-in rim burr Presidential Dollar Proof error coin found by D. Fisk. Proof coins are inspected several times before they leave the U.S. Mint, so it is always a lucky find when someone gets a coin like this in their Proof set. But if you consider the Mint's Proof coin output overall, which is in the hundreds of thousands of coins for each type, the number of errors that escape is pretty minuscule. When they do escape, though, it's interesting news to coin collectors!
