Definition: A mint set is a set of uncirculated coins from an official government agency that contains one of each coin struck during a given year.
Also Known As: Uncirculated mint sets
Examples:
This 1961 the mint set contains an uncirculated Franklin half dollar, Washington quarter, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel and a Lincoln penny from both the Philadelphia and Denver mints.
