What are Collector Grade Coins?

By Susan Headley, About.com

Definition: Collector grade is a semi-derogatory term for coins of the lowest grades, such as Good and Fine; coins that are not investment grade. The coins typical collectors can afford to buy.
Examples: Rather than refer to certain coins as low-grade, many dealers use the euphemism collector grade coins.
