The 2007 ANA World's Fair of Money, held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was by all accounts a resounding success! Every single dealer I asked said he was having a great show. Many said it was the best ANA show in years. It was easy to tell that the dealers were doing well because some of them had lots of empty spaces in their display cases by Thursday afternoon!
The highlights of the show for me were the U.S. Mint events, especially the Coin Collectors' Forum hosted by U.S. Mint Director Ed Moy. However, when you gather more than 1,200 coin dealers, tens of thousands of coin collectors, and toss in scores of exhibits, numerous major coin displays, and several famous-author book signings, you have the makings for a fabulous event. Come along on my photo-journalistic account of the 2007 World's Fair of Money!
