Presidential Dollar Designs for 2008

The U.S Mint has finally released the Presidential Dollar designs for 2008. They look very much in keeping with the style and tone set in 2007. The schedule for release is as follows:
- James Monroe - February 14
- John Quincy Adams - May 15
- Andrew Jackson - August 14
- Martin Van Buren - November 13

The Jackson design looks good, but the other three are, well. . .NOT! I guess we’ll have to live with the ugly ducklings too, as so many of our former presidents needed make-overs in the worst kind of way! Washingtom and Jefferson are my favorites so far.
