2006 Mint Sets go on Sale Today

Wednesday July 19, 2006
The U.S. Mint has announced that they have released the 2006 Uncirculated Mint Sets today. These sets have 10 coins in each of two different folders, one for the Philadelphia Mint, and one for the Denver Mint.

The coins in each set include the 5 State Quarters for the year, (Nevada, Nebraska, Colorado, North Dakota, and South Dakota), plus the other regular circulating coinage: the Lincoln Cent, the Return to Monticello Nickel, the Roosevelt Dime, the Kennedy Half, and the Sacagawea Dollar. The price is $16.95 per 20 coin set, which I think is a bargain for 20 specially-struck uncirculated coins in special commemorative packaging.
